Adopt-A-Family is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization established in 1983 by three Palm Beach County women who recognized the need to help families who were homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to financial hardship, illness, divorce, death or other extenuating circumstances. The agency's mission and core activities center on the belief that a family's basic needs must be met before systemic change can occur within the family or individual. To achieve this we provide physical housing units, rental assistance, and supportive services to families in crisis. The generosity of funders, foundations, businesses and individuals allows us to be a local leader in helping families help themselves.
