The .The Center for Creative Education is an educational nonprofit that was created more than 20 years ago to strengthen the presence of the arts in the classrooms of Palm Beach County, Florida. Today, our Teaching Artists work with thousands of children in schools and after-school programs throughout the County, as well as at our Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. The children we serve A majority of the students we work with live in economically and socially challenging circumstances and are considered “at risk” of educational failure. The arts-based programs we provide are a very powerful way to improve these students’ chances of success; both academically and personally. CCE also works with advanced students who benefit from the opportunity to delve deeply into subjects through the arts and develop their creative thinking and problem solving skills. For all children, working together on these art-based projects encourages exploration, inventiveness, team building and cooperation, and changes the way they think about themselves and about school.

The mission of the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County is to improve the quality of life in our community by promoting and achieving literacy. Our goal is to ensure that every child and every adult in Palm Beach County can read. Volunteers are needed to help children improve their reading levels through one-on-one tutoring. We do this through MEMBERSHIPS. But we do more than just collect and distribute upcycled items, we also teach amazing ways to put all these items to use at home, in the classroom or in a business. We do this through field trips, summer camp, in-house workshops, and outreach programs.

S.B. Idea, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization incorporated in 2008. SBI provides family literacy programs and adult education services across Palm Beach County. Currently S.B. Idea, Inc. manages three family literacy academies located at Forest Hill Elementary in West Palm Beach, Freedom Shores Elementary in Boynton Beach, and Lakeside Presbyterian Church in West Palm Beach. SBI’s family literacy academies offer ESOL courses, Adult Basic Education and GED Prep Courses, as well as Pre-K classes for children. S.B. Idea is proud to say that we offer all these services free of charge to any family in Palm Beach County, our only requirement for adult students is that you must have a child, grandchild, nephew, or niece that is enrolled in a local public school.

We have a theme --'Educate Bullying Awareness' to adults and children --We help advise and educate parents on how to handle a bullying problem K-12 with their child.

The Youth Activity Center, YAC, is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that provides a safe, nurturing after-school environment for children in grades kindergarten through 5th grade. Children are picked up by the YAC bus from various elementary schools Monday through Friday. All program days begin with a healthy snack which is followed by assistance with homework assignments. Depending on the day of the week activities include; art, music, yoga, sports, computer lab, ecology, gardening, field trips or community service. Our day concludes at 6:00 P.M.
