Remi Laufer Junior at Suncoast High School Remi enjoys going to the beach and playing volleyball. She also enjoys volunteering and helping others in the community. She especially loves working with animals and hopes to better the lives of shelter dogs and cats because they deserve to have a happy life with lots of love. Her hope is that the work she does will make a difference for the better of our community.

Trusha Bharadwaj Sophomore William T Dwyer HS Trusha is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America. She is a talented dancer, writer, speaker and member of her High School Debate Team. She loves the unique challenges of creative problem-solving. Other than the Arts her passion lies in rowing and giving back to the community. She is a committed volunteer for the PBC Parks and Recreation and the organizer of CAN's Featured Project "Art to the Rescue" benefiting hospitalized children.

Rujul Bharadwaj Senior at Palm Beach Gardens High School Rujul is the Founder of Wagging Tails Dogs, an organization aimed at training and elevating the profile of shelter dogs to increase their adoptability. He is also the driving force behind the successful book drives aimed at promoting literacy in PBC organized by CAN. Rujul's passion for championing social causes is matched only by his deep interest in Mathematics, Science, Debate, Finance and Water Sports.

Claudia Valdes Sophomore at Suncoast High School Claudia volunteers at events when possible to help out the community. She enjoys learning new things about her surroundings and the world we live in. In her free time, she likes to start a new book, and spend time with her friends and family. In the future, she hopes to be an important and helpful part of her community improving the world one step at a time, while gaining more knowledge as she goes.

Meher Kalkat Senior at Suncoast High School Meher is really passionate about reading, writing and spreading literacy (especially to third world countries), as well as protecting the environment and the Earth while also conserving natural resources. She enjoys playing violin, piano, and Taekwondo. In the future, she would like to be involved in a STEM field. Favorite Quote: "For it's not difference that immobilizes us, but silence. Alvin Bello Junior at Suncoast High School Alvin enjoys strategy and puzzle games such as chess and rubik's cubes, along with math and anime. He spends most of his time either working for school, doing community service, or doing religious studies. It is a passion of Alvin's to help others, and he tries to do so to the best of his abilities.

Emily Husak Senior at Jupiter High School Emily is currently in her senior year of the Jupiter Medical Center Academy at Jupiter High School. When she is not studying to keep up with AP, and Dual Enrollment courses, or catching up on sleep, she likes to volunteer, ride her bike, cook, sew, shop, play guitar, go to the beach, travel, participate in school clubs, and spend as much time as possible with friends and family. After graduation, she will continue her education in medicine.

Janetta Lam Sophomore at Suncoast High School Janetta has been playing the piano for eight years as of this past 2015 summer and she intends to continue to play well into the future. In the future, she hopes to become a part of the medical field and help people as a radiologist. She would like to help little kids with their school work because learning has always been enjoyment for her when you don’t factor in stress.

Trent Howard Senior at Suncoast High School Trent enjoys playing the bass and in the future he hopes to pursue a career in his passion of psychology. He shows dedication to everything he does and is interested in helping in different ways within the community. He helps to take care of his own elderly grandmother at his home and as director of this category he hopes to help seniors across the community as well.

Pamela Gores Senior at William T Dwyer HS Pam is currently the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper and wishes to one day pursue a career in journalism. She also is attending classes at Palm Beach State College in the hopes of advancing her educational career.

Marisa Hart Sophomore at Suncoast High School Marisa volunteers weekly at the Loxahatchee River Center, where she was recently named Volunteer of the Month. She also enjoys giving back to the community and helping to improve the environment. In her spare time, she plays volleyball, reads, and plays with her pets. In the future, she hopes to help create a positive change in the world.
